The Kentucky
HARN (High Accuracy Reference Network) began
in 1993 with completed observations and adjustments
in 1994. The work was done by the National
Geodetic Survey (NGS) located in Rockville
Maryland.. The HARN network contains 110 B-Order
stations spaced at approximately 40 kilometers.
While the Network was primarily setup for
GPS surveys for Kentucky highway projects,
many local surveyors with conventional equipment
are benefitting as well. The NGS Control Data
Sheets were submitted in late 1995 and should
not change for several years. Listed below
are the available control data sheets in ASCII
format for download.
